We are excited to take part in a new, innovative project that combines IoT robotics with cloud-based solutions, advancing the integration of smart technology in the beauty industry.

10Beauty is a pioneering company in the beauty industry, specializing in the development of the first fully automated manicure machine. Their innovative device performs a comprehensive 5-step manicure process, including nail polish removal, cuticle management, shaping and filing, nail polish application, and drying.

The 10Beauty manicure machine is designed for use in various business settings, such as hotels, gyms, and hair salons, providing customers with convenient, salon-quality manicures without the need for human intervention. Users can customize their manicure through a mobile app, insert a single-use manicure pod, and let the machine handle the rest.

We are currently working on the back-end development of the customer portal in the mobile application that will integrate directly with the manicure devices. The development phase of the project is progressing as planned, with scheduled official release in 2025. This solution will provide seamless connectivity between users and robotic devices, offering enhanced control and monitoring capabilities.

The core infrastructure includes Netsuite for ERP operations, Salesforce for customer relationship management, and Workato for automated data integration. The customer portal interface was developed using Angular and .NET frameworks to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Timeline and Challenges

The first phase of implementation was completed over 10 months. As a company operating in an emerging market, the project faced several key challenges. The absence of established workflows required collaborative process design with stakeholders, while market uncertainties necessitated an adaptable development approach. Strong project management and clear communication protocols helped maintain a steady progress toward project objectives.

The system includes development and testing environments, comprehensive portal features for customer interaction, and secure role-based access controls. Authorization systems, notification handling, and streamlined quote and order management support efficient customer service.

Integration & Portal Development

Workato manages automated workflows between systems, ensuring consistent data synchronization across platforms. The integration handles customer and product data flow, sales processing, and analytics integration through Snowflake.

The customer portal provides comprehensive self-service capabilities including login management, order handling for both standing and one-off purchases, company information management, and complete order history access. This streamlines customer interactions while maintaining data consistency across the platform.

Project Progress and Next Steps

The initial phase has built a strong operational foundation, integrating key business processes with technical infrastructure across our platform. Our systems are now configured to support streamlined workflows, with an intuitive portal interface.

Development continues with Phase 2, targeting a launch in the second half of 2025. This expansion focuses on enhancing system capabilities and introducing new features that align with market needs and user requirements.
